Now entering his 30th year in practice, Brett has developed a niche practice in serving as outside General Counsel for corporations and individuals. As such, he handles all day-to- day, transactional litigation, and family law litigation needs for his roster of clients.
Most commonly, Brett's practice brings him into the areas of family law, ranging from dissolution of marriage to paternity and child support modifications, student housing, tenants in common (TIC) litigation and transaction, condominium association and third-party purchasing matters, federal and state court litigation, gasoline service station litigation and transaction, appeals, and business transaction litigation.
As co-chair of University of Miami Center for Autism & Related Disabilities’ (UM-NSU CARD) 13th annual Tropical Nights gala in 2015, Brett helped raise over $300,000 to serve South Florida’s autism community. He was named pro bono Guardian ad Litem of the year. Additionally, he served as President of the Douglas Gardens Mental Health Center of Miami Beach Board of Directors and still sits on the Board today.
He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from Emory University School of Law.
Brett is married and has three children. Despite tendency to work 24 hours a day, he is an avid swimmer and tennis player.
Martha is a highly experienced attorney with seven years of experience. Throughout her professional journey, she has demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment to the legal field. Martha began her legal career as a secretary working alongside Brett, gradually taking on more responsibilities and growing into a paralegal role. Her passion for the law led her to pursue a law degree, and she successfully obtained her Juris Doctor.
Driven by her determination to excel, Martha's career trajectory continued to ascend, culminating in her becoming a name partner in 2017. As a name partner, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm, ensuring that clients receive top-level legal representation.
Martha specializes in a wide range of legal areas, with a primary focus on elder and estate planning, as well as real estate transactions and family law. Martha's practice extends to encompass elder law and estate planning matters, where she assists clients in protecting their assets and planning for the future. In addition, she adeptly handles various aspects of real estate law, including assisting buyers and sellers with their purchase or sale, as well as assisting landlords and tenants with eviction issues. Finally, she has successfully represented numerous clients in a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. Martha understands the sensitive nature of these issues and strives to provide her clients with empathetic guidance and effective legal solutions.

Martha's educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Florida International University, where she honed her critical thinking and analytical abilities. She later went on to earn her law degree from Saint Thomas University, further solidifying her legal expertise and paving the way for her successful career.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Martha cherishes her role as a spouse and parent. She is happily married and has three children, who serve as a constant source of inspiration and motivation in both her personal and professional life.
